Microsoft changes the price of Microsoft 365 and Office 365
For the first time in this decade, Microsoft has changed the price of Microsoft 365 and Office 365. It is worth mentioning that these changes include only business users who participate in the SaaS services, and the price of consumer and educational user participation will not change.
The new prices will be applied from 1/3/2022 as follows:
- Microsoft 365 business basic from $5 to $6 per user .
- Microsoft 365 business premium from $20 to $22 per user .
- Office 365 E1 from $8 to $10 .
- Office 365 E3 from $20 to $23 .
- Office 365 E5 from $35 to $38 .
- Microsoft 365 E3 from $32 to $36
Microsoft first published Office 365 in 2011 and has been increasing new programs and features since then, and this is the first time it has raised prices in a decade.
Since the announcement of Microsoft 365 in 2017, Microsoft has added 24 new programs for both Microsoft 365 and Office 365, such as Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power BI, Stream, Planner, Visio, OneDrive, Yammer and Whiteboard, which have increased without any price increases.
with prices rise announcement, Microsoft will also add unlimited dial-in capabilities for Microsoft Teams meetings in business, enterprise and government packages, this feature will start to rollout in the next few months.
